Wow. My husband and I both agree it was the best gelato we’ve ever had. I got the Ferrero rocher and the Oreo and that ferrero rocher was unlike any flavor of ice cream or gelato I’ve ever tasted, very unique and yummy—a must try esp if you’re a hazelnut/nutella fan. The Oreo is not your typical American Oreo cookie flavor, it is its own milk & cookie flavor that’s not too sweet—which I love! My husband got the Mango flavor and let me tell you, we both love mango flavored anything and have tried MANY ice creams, gelatos, smoothies, desserts, etc. Their mango flavor was NOTHING like we’ve ever tasted. It captured the true mango experience for us from the first lick to the lingering aftertaste. It tasted like we were eating real FRESH mango fruit with every lick. Not like those artificial mango flavors that you know is just super sweet syrup. We didn't get to try the golosa cause they were out, but reading everyone’s reviews makes me wish we went earlier to catch one!

Superb ice cream! A favorite gelateria to many locals and there’s a reason why. Expect long queues on weekends but they go quite fast. We tried the Ferrero, Lotus Cheesecake, Dubai chocolate, pistachio, strawberry lemonade and Mango and they were all delicious!

Loved the variety of tastes and the fact that you can have your ice cream in different forms (milkshake or in a brioche) Prise wise is on the upper side of the ladder but worth a try. I recommend the Ferro Rocher taste.

One of the few stores that open on Sundays in Bern. They have excellent flavors and the staff is very friendly. I once saw them replace a scoop for free because the child dropped it as soon as he stepped outside the shop. Photo shows a scoop of saffron and a scoop of chocolate.

One of the best places to enjoy delicious gelato in the city center of Bern! At Gelateria La Golosa, you can order your ice cream in three different sizes: Piccolo (4.50 CHF), Medio (6.00 CHF), or Grande (7.50 CHF). You can choose to have it in a cone or a cup. In addition to gelato, they also offer Frappé (8.00 CHF) and larger take-away packages of their gelato. If you’re in the mood for something different, you might be lucky enough to find their Golosos (also known as New York Rolls) — available only in small quantities and on special days. Gelateria La Golosa is also available for private bookings, perfect for parties and celebrations. The staff are very friendly and speak both English and German. All their ice cream flavors are homemade daily, ensuring top quality and freshness. During our visit, they even had a limited-edition flavor — “Lotus Cheesecake” — which was truly special and absolutely delicious! If you want to experience authentic Italian gelato in the heart of beautiful Bern, Gelateria La Golosa is definitely the perfect choice!
